As a Healer and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, I help you address deep-rooted tendencies connected to nervous system dysregulation and trauma. Stress regulation happens in the body, not just the mind, as the term 'mental health' implies.
Together, we create a supportive environment where you explore and experience personalized techniques for self-regulation; or the ability to feel stress and return to balance.
I specialize in complex trauma, disorganized attachment and in shifting repetitive patterns. This work fosters self-intimacy and compassionate witnessing as the cornerstone for healing these pains into new opportunities.
My approach combines the healing work of Thomas Hübl with the science of Somatic Experiencing®, offering a pathway that encompasses both transpersonal and physiological aspects of trauma healing, leading to lasting transformation.

WHATS IT LIKE TO WORK WITH ME? I'm a Healer and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner who has developed the capacity to be in deep, subtle attunement with what's happening in your system. I approach our work with transparency and respect, as we uncover and integrate the intelligence behind your nervous system's adaptations. Through respecting your system’s design, the range of possible responses can widen. This can translate to more capacity and more ease. The core of my approach is helping you build deep intimacy with yourself. From that closeness, you decide what stays and what changes. Challenges can ease or dissolve when self-intimacy becomes the focus; sometimes we just need a witness and a peer beside us as we reconcile the past and take new steps. Trained support helps because nervous system patterns that were once protective may now need an update. If we experience recurring patterns we want to change, we need to know where we are getting stuck, and how to repattern that tendency safely so it lasts.
WHY/ HOW IS THIS EFFECTIVE? Talking alone can leave our underlying patterns unchanged — we understand them, but the imprint stays the same. We're more than our thinking minds; we have other intelligences in the body. In contrast, FEELING a pattern works at the foundation level where real change happens. Talking about patterns is like reading in candlelight; including the body is like lighting a torch. At its core, Somatic Experiencing is about experiencing life in doses your body can actually digest. Rather than flooding the system with more than it can process, we work in small, manageable increments — allowing what's difficult to be met and integrated, rather than overwhelming or retraumatizing. This paced, digestible approach is what allows lasting change to take root. What's revealed in this process isn't only the difficult material — it's also our resources: what's working, our aliveness, our capacities. Often these are what we've doubted or felt were out of reach. As we approach what's hard, we're also lifting up and affirming what's already working within us.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN A SESSION? Sessions are one hour and are either in person in Albany, California, or on Zoom. We will move at a pace your system can safely digest and integrate, and we stay in communication to keep you in that workable zone. There will be periods of silence for noticing and gathering information — important moments where new possibilities can emerge — and I track what's happening for you even when words pause. Working somatically can feel unfamiliar at first: slowing down, moving the body, sitting with unclear feelings or images may feel awkward, and that's okay — we take awkwardness in doses too. Many people find real relief in not having to over-explain. The aim is a lived sense of safety and being at home in your life — a sense of agency, an unfiltered experience of yourself, and a life that makes sense to you. As intimacy with yourself deepens, so does your capacity to know, feel, and relate to a wider range of what's alive in you — and it's through that expanded relationship with yourself that self-love tends to grow. People often come to feel more embedded in their own lives, with a growing sense of trust and warmth toward themselves, a felt sense of safety, and greater overall vitality. Trauma can distort what feels possible; this work invites you to explore the edges and discover you may be closer than you thought to a life that feels more like home.
ABOUT ME I'm a healer who has healed herself, and I want that for you. For years I lived with complex trauma and addiction, trying to manage pain far bigger than my capacity to hold it. Traditional talk therapy only went so far. Body-based work was a different language, one that finally fit, and the change was so profound that I rebuilt my career around it. Over the last 20 years I've gone deep into healing, earning certifications across a range of modalities. What unites it all is a holistic view: our parts aren't separate, they're interdependent. My gift is helping you integrate the parts of yourself that feel divided, which, to me, is intimacy. My goal is for you to leave empowered, with a toolkit to meet your whole life, the good and the hard, on its own terms. It is important for me to have ongoing training in the healing arts and to receive supervision from a licensed therapist, in order that I may best serve my clients.
